In one of the Bionicle Chronicle books by Hapka, Kopaka needs to cross a pool of lava to get his mask of strength. After discovering that he can't freeze the lava or make a bridge of ice over it, he discovers a hot spring hidden behind some rocks, which he freezes into a block of ice and uses as a raft to cross the lava.
My question is this: did anyone else know about that hot spring? What if that was Vakama's little secret place to get away from the duties of being a Turaga and have a nice relaxing soak for his tired old bones? I imagine him being very upset after getting away for some quality hot spring time and finding an empty hole where

The Thief and the Matoran- Part 10
In honor of the lost Matoran, Onua raised a small monument out of the earth where they had found him. The inscription read: This tunnel was carved by Irhe, who mined deeper than any Toa. His love for the earth brought him to the deepest caverns, but his love for his people brought him home.
Onua carried Irhe back to Onu-Koro, followed by Kepu, who carried Irhe’s pack, and Uri, who carried Irhe’s pickaxe. Pohatu walked behind the procession, and the thief trailed further behind. The trip was made in silence, and when they walked through the village gates the same silence fell across all of Onu-Koro.

As soon as he touched the water, Kepu froze. His body straightened, his eyes staring straight ahead, and as the Toa watched, he stepped up onto the water’s surface. He took another step, walking on top of the water.
“No! Kepu!” Uri screamed, running forward.
“Uri, stop!” Onua reached out an arm, but Uri had already followed Kepu into the lake, wading in up to his waist. Uri caught up to Kepu and dragged him down off the water’s surface, pulling him back to shore.
“Stop! Don’t take him out of the water!” The thief cried out. He moved forward to block Uri, but suddenly there was a flash o

Uri led Kepu forward, keeping a firm grip on his arm. Kepu didn’t resist, occasionally stumbling as he let himself be pulled along. Onua followed behind them, lost in thought as he tried to think of ways to get around the flooded tunnel. If only Gali were here, he mused. But then it struck him— he and Pohatu were down here with the thief, and the other Toa knew nothing about it. He had told Pohatu earlier that their lack of unity was a problem and that they couldn’t just keep going off on their own, and yet that was exactly what he had done. After the thief directed them to another portion of the cavern for Onua to drill through, they found themselves in a new tunnel. The thief led the way, while Onua brought up the rear. Pohatu held the sole remaining lightstone, which cast long, bouncing shadows across the cavern walls.
The thief stopped at a fork in the tunnel, and when they looked to the left, they could see nothing but rubble.
“This is the cave-in you two escaped.” The thief told Uri and Kepu. Pohatu raised the lightstone higher, peering at the collapsed tunnel.
“How far are we from Irhe?” Kepu asked.

The water in the creek was surprisingly warm. Kepu rode on Onua’s shoulders so he could mark their progress in his notebook, while Uri chose to wade through the creek and measure out the lengths they traveled. The water came up to his waist, but he moved quickly and was not hindered by it.
Kepu and Uri held lightstones that illuminated the walls of the narrow tunnel, showing the layers of rock that had been worn smooth by the water over the years. The creek started off shallow, and in some places became little more than a trickle through loose rock. Their feet crunched through the pebbles on these und

A quarter of a kio, half a kio, an entire kio, and then further still. It went down much further than Onua thought it would, and he could feel the air pressure increasing. The temperature rose to an uncomfortable level for a brief time as they must have neared a magma flow, before dropping to something more bearable. Otherwise, the ride down the elevator was uneventful, at least to Onua. Pohatu was clearly uncomfortable and spent the ride with one hand clutching the railing t

Onua and Pohatu caught up to the others. Both Uri and Kepu had lightstones, but the thief walked ahead of them without one. Still, he didn’t seem to need it. He seemed more confident than he had before; whereas before he had stopped at every fork in the tunnel, now he barely paused before continuing on.
They followed a narrow, winding path before coming into a wide tunnel with several offshoots, presumably the “causeway” part of “Onua’s Causeway”. Each side tunnel had Matoran glyphs carved above them—some with intriguing names like “Onua’s Oasis” a

The Hydro Theory [THIEF] - Ch. 1: Moira
The room was spinning; if not entirely spinning, shifted greatly to one side. His legs dragged and padded at the ground uselessly, as though they were broken; if not entirely broken, then certainly rendered useless. By what, he could not say. They were simply useless. His eyes remained unfocused as he was hauled through the gloomy hallways. The light of a clouded sun did little to illuminate their path, and so things were bumped into – tables, chairs, other patients. He failed to understand their need for haste; it was certainly much to fast for him. His mind was reeling to keep up with the sights that met his drooping eyes, the sounds
Was it always this hard to breathe? And was my tongue always coated in copper? I was sure my spit hadn't always been that red color either Shit, my ribs hurt In fact, my whole body hurt. Even my eyes were burning behind my glasses Wait, had they always been cracked like that?
I stopped and leaned against a concrete wall in a dark alley, hoping to catch my breath and continue moving away from the scene I had nearly been a part of before that man could catch up to me. Did I even know where I was going? Who I could go to for help? Damn it, who was around that area? I couldn't think straight through the pain in my chest
Merry Christmas everyone! I'm currently working on a shorter story. Having a bit of trouble with the outline, but I hope to have it posted soon. Stay tuned!
Hey all!
Im thinking of posting another story. It will be a shorter story that will take place after the events of "The Toa and the Thief". Is anyone interested?
By the way I've read a wee little bit of your first chapter in your story. It's sounding quite good! I'm wondering where you're going to take the Nuva symbol theory (because I've been wondering about that myself recently). Good luck writing the rest of it!
No worries! Oh I mean how the Nuva symbols affect the Toa's powers (and in your story how stealing the nuva symbols didn't happen like it did with the Bohrok Kal). Sorry I'm sometimes so lazy I forget to explain myself.
